In the fall of 2021, Kyle Dagenais took over as the owner of DC Dog Sitter.

Kyle is a Washington, DC resident and a boots-on-the-ground owner engaging with our clients and our furry companions as well as helping to lead a team of Pet Professionals.

A graduate of American University, Kyle has gone on to grow and develop divisions primarily in the corporate and government space. When the pandemic hit, it was a moment to have a reset and evaluate the trajectory and next steps of his life. Over the course of due diligence and evaluating various business models, he came across DCDS. And, the rest is history!

DC Dog Sitter has been truly built from the ground up - one member at a time, one day at a time. There are three defining goals to DC Dog Sitter - 1) to provide the very best pet care and empower pet owners with resources to promote animal longevity, 2) to enable team members to be paid a living wage in the pet industry and assist with financial goal planning to equip others to live successfully, and 3) to give back with a minimum of 10% of all proceeds every year going towards assisting and helping pets live their best life. We are beyond grateful to our many members and our team - the majority of whom are full-time team members and derive their full-time income from caring for our many furry companions.
