A message from our Founder

It is with enormous gratitude that I announce DCDS is under new management. A little over six years ago (2015), a vision was created to help elevate the level of care for our furry companions. And, one client at a time, we have built from the ground up an organization that continues to disrupt the status quo, work to provide the highest level of care for our furry companions, pay a living wage to our caregivers, and give back to our community as well as help promote pet health and longevity.

As many will know in the midst of working to build a business, I have also been navigating significant health challenges. Over the past several months, it has become clear that I needed to let go of my beloved DCDS. This decision did not come lightly as a search for a new owner who embraces the vision, heart, and soul of who and what we are about was put forth. I am pleased to announce the new owner of DCDS, Kyle Dagenais.

Many of you have become very good friends. And, I am sincerely grateful for your support, your desire to help us grow, and the unity in our organization. I know that as you get to know Kyle you will see what I have seen that he will also lead with the same care and compassion that is the underlying theme of DC Dog Sitter. And, that you will surround him with the same support as he leads DCDS in this next chapter.
